The study was an assessment of collaborative partnership in the funding of colleges of education in Nigeria, from perception of the provosts, registrars and bursars. It was a survey of public colleges of education. The study was guided by five research questions and five null hypotheses. The entire population of fifty-nine provosts, fifty-nine registrars and fifty-nine bursars of the fifty-nine federal and state colleges of education in the six geo-political zones of the country were used for the study. Instrument for data collection was a structured, validated and pilot tested questionnaire of 33 items built on 4-point rating scale of Likert type. The research questions were answered using arithmetic mean with 2.50 as decision point and the null hypotheses were tested using Analysis of variance (ANOVA) at 0.05 level of significance. The result of the study among others showed that the provosts, registrars, and bursars of the public colleges of education jointly considered collaborative partnership in the funding of colleges of education necessary to a very high extent. Equally, they attested that collaborative partnership in the four areas of funding is low. It was also discovered that there is no significant difference in the mean rating of the provost, registrars and bursars of the federal and state colleges of education with regard to the four areas of funding of colleges of education. Based on the findings of the study and their implications, recommendations and suggestions for further research were made.
