Against the background of prevailing high rate of unemployment in Nigeria, the study investigated the level of entrepreneurial skill acquisition through physics education among secondary school students in the six Education Zones in Anambra State. A survey design was adopted for the study. The sample comprised 312 Senior Secondary three (SS 3) physics students drawn from six Education Zones of the state. A purposive sampling technique was used in selecting the sample. Four research questions and three null hypotheses guided the study. The Entrepreneurial Skill Acquisition Test (ESAT) and Questionnaire for Resource Availability (QFRA) were the two instruments used for data collection. The instruments were validated. Kuder Richardson formula 21 and Cronbach alpha techniques were used for testing for reliability of ESAT and QFRA respectively. The instruments were found reliable at reliable indices of 0.82 and 0.76 respectively. Data were analysed using mean, standard deviation and independent t-test. The findings revealed that: Physics students have low level of acquisition of entrepreneurial skill implicit in secondary school physics curriculum, there is no gender influence in the level of acquisition of entrepreneurial skills among physics, school location does not affect the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills in physics student and resources for teaching and learning of entrepreneurial skills implicit in the physics curriculum are not available in secondary schools. Based on the findings, the researcher recommended continuous professional training on the skills to improve teachers’ competence and students’ acquisition level. Also, the researcher recommended that adequate resources should be provided for effective teaching and learning of physics in secondary schools.
