Small scale industry has been defined as industrial establishment costing not more than N750,000 excluding cost of land. According to Klott Lawrence, small-scale industry is any industry which is independently owned operated and dominant in its area of operation. Data for this study has been gathered from both primary and secondary sources. The questionnaires were subsequently tested and the result shows: – The management is grabbling with staff composition inherent from poor working condition. – The level of independent provided for Sydney Castro staff is inadequate. – The staff of Sydney Castro should be exposed to regular courses, seminars, workshops and symposia to update their working knowledge.
