The study is centered on Regulatory Policy and Crime Management in Ebonyi State of Nigeria. The public outcry on the incidence of crime such as armed robbery, murder, kidnapping and rape, prompted us to undertake this study. Three hypotheses were formulated and tested in the study. A total of 400 respondents from Ebonyi State were used for the study. The instruments for data collection were structured questionnaire and interview. Only 379 respondents returned their questionnaires which are used for analysis. The data collected were analyzed and presented in tables and percentages, while Z-test was used to test the hypothesis. At last, it was discovered that there was an increase in crime rate in Ebonyi State which is associated with poverty, unemployment, poor socialization of children and corrupt leadership; that the government has adopted some policy measures such as Police patrol team services, incarceration of convicted offenders, and putting into cell of arrested persons as a means of curbing crime. Crime being a wicked problem that cannot be solved by one shot policy cannot be managed by the punishment of law offenders only, rather by adequate development of the citizens. These findings had a lot of implications which were observed in the body of the work. Based on these findings and their implications, recommendations were made, notably that effort should be made by the Ebonyi State government to reduce the level of poverty, unemployment, poor socialization, and corrupt leadership.
