The purpose of this study is to evaluate the educational activities of Anambra State Agency for Adult and Non-formal Education for achieving the adult education components of Education for All (EFA) goals in Anambra State. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprises all the adult education managers/supervisors and facilitators/instructors in Anambra State who are on government pay-roll. They are 1005 in number, made up of 115 managers and 890 facilitators. The whole population was studied because of the size. Seven research questions and seven null hypothesis guided the study. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire, duly validated by experts. The co-efficient Alpha for the seven parts (A-G) are 0.78, 0.89, 0.70, 0.85, 0.64, 0.65 and 0.80 respectively and 0.76 on average. This is considered adequate for the study. The questionnaire was then administered to the respondents using trained research assistants. A 100% recovery of distributed questionnaire was achieved. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using mean to answer the research questions while the null hypothesis was tested with t-test statistics. The study reveal that the extent of learner enrolment, fund provision, sensitization, capacity building and infrastructural development in the Adult education sub sector is fairly low and cannot lead to the achievement of the adult education components of Education for All (EFA) goals in Anambra State within the 2015 dateline. However, the extent to which learners in adult basic and post literacy programmes are certificated is rated high.
