This study investigated the packaging of debt and equity and evaluation of the impact of the Nigerian Capital Market and the mobilization of long-term funds in the economy. The objective of this research is to appraise the extent to which the Nigerian Capital Market has achieved its major goals in the face of various constraints both internally and externally. The methodology used for this study was descriptive, data were collected through survey methods. Some descriptive, data were collected through survey methods. Some hypotheses were formulated to guide the major activities of the study. The researcher found out that the securities and Exchange Commission has not been supervising the capital market adequately hence the prevalence of insider-trading and stock crash.
